We are happy to announce version 20 of osbuild. This time with a big set of new features, including support for btrfs assemblers, as well as reworked and improved progress output on the terminal. As usual, a round of bugfixes is included as well.

Today, we released osbuild-composer 15 with several very exciting features. Most notably, Composer has now support for building RHEL For Edge and also for building images for ppc64le and s390x architectures. Also, a lot of very nice fixes are included in this release.

How to: Image Builder + OSTree + Anaconda
In version 15, Image Builder gained support for creating OSTree commits. You can install a Linux system using those OSTree commits by using the Anaconda Installer and its Kickstart functionality. This process is rather involved, with none of the individual parts providing a complete solution yet, so let me walk you through it.
Release of osbuild-composer 13
Yesterday, we released version 13 of osbuild-composer. We are very proud of this release as it contains lots of very nice improvements. The most important ones are: support for building Fedora IoT commit tarballs, revamped support for RHEL 8 and dropping the ability to build Fedora 30 and several poorly- defined image types.

We are happy to announce version 15 of osbuild. A handful of new features and, as usual, lots of bugfixes all over.
Release of osbuild-composer 12
Today, we released version 12 of osbuild-composer. This time, there are no major features. However, you are still encouraged to upgrade because the new version contains a lot of fixes and refactorings making the tool more stable.
Release of osbuild 14
Last week, we released version 14 of osbuild. It is a regular release with a
handful of new features, as well as a bunch of fixes. The major new feature is
support for input-validation via JSON-schemata, as well as the --inspect
command-line option to get more information about manifests without running the
pipeline engine.
